What is PayPal Pay with Rewards?

The PayPal Pay with Rewards feature lets you pay with your ScoreCard® Rewards points for purchases made using PayPal. You must be enrolled in the program to be able to pay with your ScoreCard Rewards points.


How do I enroll in Pay with Rewards?

First, click 'Link Card' from this landing page. Then, follow the steps below to enroll:

  1. Log in to your PayPal wallet
  2. Click the wallet button on the top navigation menu
  3. From the left side navigation menu select the ScoreCard Rewards card button on "Get Started" where it says "Start Spending your ScoreCard Rewards Points”
  4. Click on "Agree and Link" on the next page
  5. Click on "Done" to come back to the main page

How do I Pay with Rewards at checkout?

Once you have enrolled in Pay with Rewards, you can pay with your ScoreCard Rewards points at checkout following the process below:

  1. Click on the PayPal button on the merchant checkout page or the merchant app
  2. Log in to your PayPal wallet
  3. Select the ScoreCard Rewards card that is enrolled in Pay with Rewards
  4. Select "Use ScoreCard Rewards points"
  5. The amount is defaulted to either the total purchase amount or your ScoreCard Rewards points amount, whichever is lesser
  6. You can click on "Change Amount" to change the amount of ScoreCard Rewards points that you want to apply toward the purchase
  7. Click on "Continue" once you have selected the amount of ScoreCard Rewards points you want to apply
  8. You will be taken to merchant checkout to complete the transaction

What if I don't have an account with PayPal?

If you don't already have an account with PayPal, you can easily sign up for one during the linking process.
 

What transactions are not eligible for Pay with Rewards?

You can't use Pay with Rewards for purchases that include recurring billing, in-store transactions, non-U.S. dollar transactions or peer-to-peer (send money) transactions.


Do I earn ScoreCard Rewards points when using PayPal?

You will continue to earn eligible ScoreCard Rewards points on every purchase using your ScoreCard Rewards card with PayPal. To view your individual card benefits, simply log in to your account at ScoreCardRewards.com. You will not earn any rewards on purchases (or part of the purchase) that are made with ScoreCard Rewards points.


How do I unenroll from Pay with Rewards?

To unenroll, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your PayPal wallet
  2. Click on wallet from the top navigation menu
  3. Select your ScoreCard Rewards card from the left side navigation menu
  4. Click on "Details" where you see your available ScoreCard Rewards points
  5. Click on "Stop using ScoreCard Rewards points with PayPal" on the next page
  6. Confirm you want to unenroll by clicking on "Stop using ScoreCard Rewards points” on the next page
  7. Click on "Done" to come back to the main page

Why should I link my card with PayPal?

Adding your card to your PayPal wallet is an easy way to link your ScoreCard Rewards card to PayPal without having to manually enter your card information at checkout for all of your future purchases. Plus, your account information will be automatically updated with PayPal if you are ever issued a new card.
